Fashion Jewelry

When it comes to fashion, jewelry is much more than a simple accessory. It is an extension of one’s personality that can be as simple or quirky as the person that wears it. And while many pieces can be quite costly, the vast majority of this type of jewelry is meant for everyday wear and as such can be found relatively inexpensively.

Unlike fine jewelry, fashion jewelry is often made from plastic or some other artificial material. They are intended to be disposable as fashions change and are quite inexpensive to purchase. A walk through any local shopping mall will reveal numerous retailers that specialize in this type of jewelry.

Artificial stones are also commonly used in fashion jewelry. Cubic Zirconium is one of the most popular synthetic stones, often used to mimic the look of diamonds. Semi-precious stones such as garnet and topaz are also commonly used in this type of jewelry.
