Fine vintage jewelry is what most modern jewelry hopes to eventually become. It has a timeless elegance and beauty that allows it to weather the ever changing trends in fashion without becoming “dated” and remain in high demand decades after it was originally created. For collectors especially, this classic jewelry is highly sought after.

Vintage jewelry is typically considered to be those pieces that are more than 30 years old. However, as a general rule, the older the piece of jewelry, the more potentially valuable it becomes. Of course, the overall condition of the piece and the quality of the stones and craftsmanship also play a large role in its value.

It is important to note that not all vintage jewelry is purchased simply because it is old. Many people prefer the look of a certain design era and actively seek out pieces from these periods of time. Others collect pieces that have some kind of history behind them.
